The School of Nursing at Nevada State College (NSC) offers four tracks for a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree – the traditional two-year Regular Track, two and a half-year Part-Time Track, the one-year Accelerated Track and the online Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN) track.
The Regular Track is a two-year pre-licensure track for applicants starting or returning to college to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. The Part-Time Track is a two and a half year pre-licensure track for applicants that want to earn a bachelor of Science in Nursing degree while maintaining their existing life responsibilities. The Accelerated Track is a pre-licensure track for applicants who already have earned a bachelor’s degree or higher in any subject, but are returning to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. The RN to BSN Track is for applicants who already have a Registered Nurse license and want the flexibility of an online program to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
NSC offers affordable opportunities for individuals seeking a degree in the nursing profession. The small classes, along with dedicated faculty, allow for individual attention to promote student success. Partnerships with hospitals, clinics and other healthcare organizations provide students with valuable hands-on opportunities to learn what area may suit them best.
