The Nevada State College Institutional Review Board (IRB) is a faculty committee comprised of representatives from each academic unit. The committee is responsible for reviewing all human subject research and ensuring compliance with the federal guidelines defined by the Office for Human Research Protections. The membership of the IRB Committee is as follows:
Members shall serve on the committee at the discretion of the Provost.
Primary staff will be provided by the Assistant to the Provost.
The IRB Committee meetings are scheduled regularly during the academic year.
The Chair of the committee sets the agenda in consultation with the IRB Committee members.
