Family and friends play a crucial role in the academic and social success of students. To help you help your students during this time, we have designed an orientation session with this in mind. There is a specific family member session at both the Orientation & Registration program and the Scorpion Welcome.
At each program, the session runs concurrently to parts of the student orientation session. The main focus of the program is to help families learn how to best support the student throughout his or her time in college. Sessions will cover topics such as academic requirements, financial aid and how to best support the new or transfer student in your life.
Working together will help make this transition as smooth as possible for everyone involved. Family and friends have worked hard to get their new student to this point. Now, let’s work together to get students on their way to graduation .
