Our mission is to ensure that all students with qualified disabilities have equal access to participate in, contribute to, and benefit from all college programs.
At Nevada State College, we recognize and embrace the opportunity to meet the unique educational needs of students with disabilities. The staff of the RCSD is dedicated to providing a coordinated program of support services for students qualifying as disabled under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 Guidelines. RCSD staff assists students in negotiating disability related barriers and maximizing independence.
We strive to improve access and opportunities to participate in, contribute to and benefit from all facets of academic and campus life. Confidential sensitive and individualized services are provided free upon student request. So anyone who may have a disability is encouraged to make an appointment to come into our office for an intake packet. The student’s intake packet and supporting documentation will be evaluated by our Eligibility Team.
