Students enrolled at NSC are automatically assigned a printing account with a balance that is replenished to $3.50 each semester. If the balance is more than $3.50, it is carried over to the next semester. However, it is the student’s responsibility to ensure their account is activated and in proper working order on a continual basis. The Library does not create or maintain student printing accounts at any time.
The Library accepts monetary deposits to all active Novell accounts at both the Dawson and Basic and Water street branches. Cash payment is not accepted at this time. Students may deposit any amount of funds to their Novell account via Master Card or Visa credit cards or by any debit card bearing those symbols. Funds are available immediately after successful deposit transactions. Print account balances can be checked by logging into the website papercutng.nsc.local using the student's username and password.
Patrons may check their account balance by logging into the website http://papercutng.nsc.local/admin with the username and password that they use to log into the workstations.
The library does not grant refunds in any amount for printing account balances. Students should practice discretion when depositing large amounts to their accounts.
If students do not log off of their personal accounts when leaving a campus computer another patron may use that account either unknowingly or maliciously to print. In the event that a student loses any amount of money from their Novell account because of failure to log-off of their account, the library will not refund the missing funds. Students are solely responsible for their account balance management.
The library is not responsible for any errors or misprints performed by students from their Novell account. The library will not refund students for printing errors.
Library patrons may view their printing history by logging into the website http://papercutng.nsc.local/admin with the username and password that they use to log into the workstations and then clicking Transaction History.
