Giving to Nevada State College

Thank you for considering a gift to Nevada State College (NSC). Your support is important to us, and it makes a difference in the lives of our students and faculty.  The NSC Foundation allows private donors to help build, sustain and advance the state of Nevada's only four-year public college. Today, state funds do not fully cover the operational needs of NSC. Private philanthropy provides the "Margin of Excellence" that distinguishes NSC from other public colleges and universities in Nevada. Specially the NSC Foundation:

• Receives contributions from private sources on behalf of NSC's schools, departments, undergraduate research, facilities and technology;
• Disburses all contributions received according to the expressed wishes of the donor; and
• Invests and Serves as a steward of all investments and manages the contributions to protect and enhance their value.

Each year a number of alumni, parents, employees and friends of the College make a conscious choice to invest their philanthropic dollars with us. In return, they receive the satisfaction of knowing the impact of their giving has a multiplying effect. Your gift to the Foundation pays extraordinary academic and societal dividends for NSC. Our students are working to change the world in a variety of ways including, scientific undergraduate research, teaching our children, working in the medical fields to improve the delivery of clinical and patient care, setting government policies, or working in neighborhoods to impact social change. NSC students, faculty and alumni share high ideals and a powerful commitment to make a difference in the lives of those around us.
