Welcome to the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence-Assessment (CTLE-A) at Nevada State College. The Center is committed to providing assistance to the college’s full-time and part-time faculty in continued improvement of teaching and learning. The Center supports Nevada State College’s commitment to providing the highest quality instruction, as well as mentoring and advising services, to every student. We do this by offering ongoing faculty development to provide support and assistance as needed.
Assessment at Nevada State College is a valued process. We have established an ability-based assessment program which identifies certain educational outcomes that students will achieve through their college career here. The Center is dedicated to supporting this assessment process by facilitating our Assessment Institute. The Center also offers convenient and systematic methods of collecting and analyzing Institutional data to offer feedback to faculty, schools, and departments.
