Research Databases
A research database is an electronic collection of journals, magazines, and newspapers which cover a broad range of academic study. The Nevada State College Library subscribes to several research databases which are specific to areas of study.

Nevada State College Library subscribes to several electronic journals. eJournals are a valuable research tool for students and professors who wish to locate and search within specific journals electronically.
eBooks
Nevada State College Library owns several electronic books. eBooks are a convenient means for students and professors to locate a specific title or search for a topic within a collection of eBooks. In order to access NSC Library's eBooks patrons must initially create a free user account.
Subject Guides
Subject guides are convenient, compiled lists of web based resources and research tools specifically organized by academic discipline.
Refworks
Refworks is a versatile resource which allows users to import, organize, and create bibliographic citation lists in several citations styles including APA, MLA, and Chicago. For the group code please call 992-2800.
