LAS Building

After years of meticulous planning and construction, the School of Liberal Arts & Sciences will soon have a home to match the quality of its faculty, staff and growing student body. With its state-of-the-art technology, modern laboratory facilities, and eye-catching architecture, the LAS building promises to be a cornerstone of Nevada State's sprawling 550-acre campus.

Home to 42 handsomely-outfitted offices, four fully-equipped science labs, and an array of “smart” classrooms, the new building officially opens its doors to students in fall 2008.

Dawson Building

The original home of Nevada State College, the Dawson Building reflects the College’s constant state of improvement and adaptability. Since Nevada State’s inception in 2002, the Dawson Building has transformed from a warehouse to a fully-functioning learning community complete with classrooms, a bookstore, a library, and most recently, a state-of-the-art anatomy and physiology laboratory that offers experiential training for students. The heart of the Dawson Building, the Great Hall, provides a space for students to study and socialize between classes.

The Dawson Building will continue to hold classes and labs when the LAS Building officially opens in fall 2008.
