Aaron Wong started life in Livermore, CA. For his undergraduate studies he moved south to U.C. Santa Barbara, where he earned a B.S. in Math and a B.A. in Physics, but didn't learn how to surf. From there, he moved south again to U.C. San Diego, where he earned his M.A. and Ph.D in Math and continued not surfing. Instead of moving south into Mexico, he decided to head east to Henderson, where he will definitely not surf. Throughout his studies, he has been involved in Christian spiritual formation and leadership, facilitating Bible studies as an undergraduate and serving on the leadership of his church and a graduate Christian group at UCSD. His other interests include music (guitar, bass, and piano), basketball, not surfing, puzzles, board games, and poker (known as "Aaron W." in a certain online poker community.)
