Nursing Advisor for Current Students...

Once accepted into the Nursing Program, students are assigned a nursing faculty advisor. Each student receives this faculty advisor’s name at the new student nursing orientation. The faculty advisor is a guide and mentor for the student during the nursing program.

Each student needs to meet with his or her advisor before the beginning of each semester to review health documentation and receive a “Ticket to Clinical”.

It is also important for each student and his or her advisor to meet during each semester and review the curriculum and determine what general education courses, if any, need to be completed for graduation.
