Admission Requirements
Freshman Applicants
If you are graduating from high school this year or you have graduated before but never attended college, click here for requirements and an application.
Transfer Applicants
If you have completed a minimum of 12 transferable credits at another regionally accredited college or university, click here for requirements and an application.
Dual Admission
If you wish to be admitted to both Nevada State College and a community college in Nevada (CCSN, WNCC, TMCC), click here for requirements and an application.
Re-Admit Applicants
Students, who have previously applied, been admitted, and taken at least one class, but have not attended classes in three consecutive semesters, are considered re-admit applicants.
Non-Degree Applicants
Students who do not plan on obtaining a degree at Nevada State College, are taking classes at Nevada State College to transfer to another college, or are taking classes at Nevada State College for personal enrichment are considered non-degree applicants
Additionally, students who do not meet the admissions requirements for either freshman or transfer admissions may elect to complete the non-degree application, and re-apply for regular admissions following their completion of 12 college-level NSC credits
International Students
Regrettably, Nevada State College cannot accept and issues international student visas. We can only accept students with Permanent Resident Status or students whoa re dependents of persons with H or O visas.
