This program is designed to encourage students who intent to complete an Associate and a Bachelor degree to achieve both. These students would be admitted to the College of Southern Nevada (or other Nevada System of Higher Education two-year college) and Nevada State College at the same time. Students who are eligible will have the opportunity to concurrently register at both colleges. The programs that are targeted will have complete agreement between both institutions, so that the student can achieve both degrees simultaneously and seamlessly.
In order to apply for admission to Nevada State College as a Dual Admission student, the student must meet the minimum 2.0 grade point average requirement with high school official transcripts (see Freshman Admissions). The student would complete the application, pay a $35 application processing fee (to cover the NSC and CSN application fee), and send official transcripts to Nevada State College.
