Freshmen or First Time College Students
Congratulations on your admission to Nevada State College! We are always glad to welcome new students. Going to college is an exciting time for freshmen, but we know that it can also be confusing. This is a time that impacts not only the student, but also family, friends, and others close to you. The goal of New Student Orientation is to make this transition as informative, smooth, and fun as possible for everyone involved.
New Student Orientation is a one day program designed to introduce new students and their families to life at Nevada State College. Participants will meet fellow students, learn about campus academic resources, as well as how to get involved in student organizations.
Meals will be provided for all participants.
Orientation is for admitted and registrations students only. If you are unsure of your application status, please call the Office of Admission & Records at (702) 992-2130 prior to registering for orientation.
The Fall 2008 program will be held on:
Saturday, August 23, 2008
For more information about Orientation at NSC or to RSVP, please call the Office of Admissions & Records at (702) 992-2130.
