Family & Friends

Family and friends can play a crucial role in the academic and social success of students.  Because of this, the NSC Staff has designed an orientation session especially with this in mind!  

This day long program runs concurrently to the student orientation session. The main focus of the program is to help families learn how to best support the student throughout his or her time in college. Sessions will cover topics such as financial aid (facilitated in both English and Spanish), campus resources, campus security, what college classes are really like, and how to best support the new or transfer student in your life.

Working together will help make this transition as smooth as possible for everyone involved. Family and friends have worked hard to help get their new student to this point. Now, let’s work together to get students on their way to graduation!

Food will be provided for all participants. However, no child care will be provided.
